Hello lovelies! Today’s topic of discussion is completely different than to what I normally do on my blog. Since relaunching my blog back in July I have really focused in on the fashion aspect and stuck to only that subject on here. Today I’m breaking that “rule” and if you guys like this, it might become something that happens more often!

Today’s post is all about how I’m not perfect. I feel like now-a-days everyone uses social media to depict this perfect life they have. I know I’m guilty of this for sure, but I also try to keep a little bit of realness with you guys as well. One thing I’m going to focus more on in 2017 is connecting with you guys on a personal level and showing you all that I’m just a normal person.

I’ve had a few people tell me how I’m so photogenic and my Instagram pictures are so beautiful, and they are because I make them that way. I also look so photogenic because I only choose a select few images to share with you all. Normally when Triss and I shoot a blog post I have roughly 100 images to sort through. After I choose my favorites I narrow that down even more to a measly six images for my blog. Now, normally I do share the ones that didn’t make it on my blog on my Instagram because I can’t just waste 90% of those pictures. I work really hard on maintaining my Instagram “theme” which is just to put good quality images on there every single day.

I’m not going to lie to you guys, and if you know me in real life you already know this, but about 5-6 days a week, I’m not wearing makeup. I always tend to wear the same outfits, and I rarely brush my hair. There are days when I don’t even leave my apartment because I’m off work and off school and just want to be a couch potato. I binge watch Youtube on the regular and sometimes my dinner for the night consists of cereal or popcorn because I’m too lazy to actually cook food.

I hope this post helps you in understanding that just because I’m a blogger and my life may look beautiful and awesome on my Instagram, you’re only seeing my highlight reel and what I choose to show you all. This goes for every other blogger out there as well, and this is something I feel like more people need to address. Now, enjoy some blooper pictures from the past few months, because blooper pictures are lowkey my favorites. (:

Peace out, girl scout.
